Corrosion and coatings professionals will gather Sept. 28–30 in Saint Paul to share practical solutions for protecting critical infrastructure.
ST. PAUL, MN, UNITED STATES, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The toughest corrosion challenges rarely have one-size-fits-all solutions. The AMPP Central Conference provides a forum for corrosion prevention and industrial coatings professionals to share proven practices, discuss emerging technologies, and solve real-world asset integrity challenges. The conference will be held September 28–30, 2026, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Hosted by the AMPP Twin Cities Chapter, the conference will examine the corrosion and coatings issues affecting pipelines, transmission infrastructure, industrial facilities and other critical assets. Technical sessions will combine field experience, case studies, and emerging technologies to give attendees new perspectives on protecting those assets.
The technical program includes presentations on corrosion and coatings challenges, project case studies, and technologies that are changing how infrastructure is inspected, maintained and protected. Between sessions, attendees can visit the exhibit hall to explore new products and services and connect with companies serving the corrosion prevention and industrial coatings industries. Full conference participants may also earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
“The best solutions often come from conversations between people who have faced the same challenges,” said Conference Chair Marty Iozzo of General Corrosion Corporation. “The Central Conference gives professionals the opportunity to share what has worked, learn from one another, and leave with ideas they can put into practice when they get back to work.”
Conference Technical Chair Jon Bell of Lake Superior Consulting said the program reflects the challenges facing today’s corrosion and coatings professionals.
“We wanted sessions that go beyond theory,” Bell said. “Our speakers will share lessons learned from real projects, discuss what’s changing across the industry, and provide practical insights attendees can immediately apply to the assets they manage every day.”
The conference also includes a co-located, hands-on Monday Rectifier Course led by Iozzo and Austin Philipps, an exhibit hall featuring corrosion prevention and industrial coatings suppliers, and several opportunities for attendees to connect during the Welcome Reception and Tuesday Happy Hour.
Professionals who register by Aug. 23, 2026, can save $125 on full conference registration. Discounted rooms at the InterContinental Saint Paul Riverfront are available through Aug. 31, 2026, subject to availability.
Professionals from across North America and around the world are invited to attend.
