The partnership brings VetRec’s AI scribe to a teaching hospital, giving Iowa State’s next generation of veterinarians hands-on experience with AI-powered clinical documentation.

LVMC faculty, house officers, students, and clinical staff will use VetRec to generate medical notes, discharge instructions, and record summaries in real time, reducing administrative burden across a medical center that treats more than 25,000 cases annually. The rollout spans the Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital, the Large Animal Hospital, and Equine Field Services.
