Riemann Computing’s AI Model “My Name is Riemann” Prerelease Surpasses 500 Downloads on Hugging Face

Riemann Computing’s AI model tops 500 Hugging Face downloads in prerelease, marking early interest in the model.

TROY, MI, UNITED STATES, October 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Riemann Computing announced that “My Name is Riemann,” its recently released AI model, has surpassed 500 downloads on Hugging Face while still in prerelease, marking an early milestone for the project. The 13.1-billion-parameter language model is designed for text generation in English and Arabic, with an emphasis on coding and step-by-step problem solving. Its intended uses include code completion, code explanation, and bilingual question answering.

The project takes a staged approach to model development. Starting from the smaller OpenPeerLLM model, the team expanded its architecture in successive stages, carrying trained weights forward rather than starting over at each size. The current prerelease represents stage six of that process, with additional training planned for future releases.

Another feature is its fine-tuning approach. Using the OpenPeer-AI-NTK-Trainer, the team fits a small controller that adjusts the model’s layer outputs while leaving its underlying weights unchanged. The Hugging Face repository includes the model weights, controller, training pipeline, and technical documentation, giving developers and researchers a closer look at how the release was built.

The download milestone offers an early indication of interest, not a measure of proven performance or production adoption. The model remains experimental: it has not undergone instruction or safety tuning, and broader capability benchmarks are not yet available. Its documentation recommends reviewing generated outputs and conducting further training and evaluation before production use.

The release comes as Riemann Computing continues its equity crowdfunding campaign on Wefunder. The campaign gives interested readers an opportunity to learn more about the company and its broader work in AI, software, and computing infrastructure. Prospective investors should review the offering documents and risk disclosures before making an investment decision.
